About me

Hello and WELCOME to the Best Bunch!!!

 

My name is Kimberly Best. I am in my ninth year of teaching, and this is my second year at Cascade Middle School. I graduated from MTSU in May 2012. I started my teaching career as a middle school science teacher in 2014, went to elementary school for a little bit, and came back to my beloved middle school kiddos in 2022. I am also certified to teach ESL and am working on my certification to teach SPED this year. I am DEFINITELY a life-long learner!!!!

 

My husband and I will celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary on August 2nd and we have three boys. We also have three dogs, four cats, and a bird. Our house is a zoo!!! 

 

Reading is one of my favorite things to do, as well as cross stitching and miniature crafts. I am attempting to learn crochet..... (Please don't ask to see any of that, because it is still a HOT MESS.) 

 

Teaching is in my blood. My grandfather, grandmother, several aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts, and great grandparents are/were all teachers. Working with my students is my heart's calling and there is truly no where else I want to spend my time away from my family! Once a kid has crossed my path they become my kid, and they will be my kid ALWAYS!!!!
