What we are learning in ELA.

In this class, I will be doing my best to prepare my students for high school. My expectations for my students are high. I expect every student to try and give me their personal best at all times. When they think they are at 100%, I will push them a little more.

We follow the Wit & Wisdom curriculum that is provided by the county in this class. It is broken into modules. I have modified it slightly to fit the TN State Standards better, but kept the module format. I have listed the novels used in class and will link articles, and other used texts in the calendar or further down on this page as we use them. Since the articles, poems, and stories are not always the same, it will be difficult to list them all now.

I have also attached a link to the Bedford County Schools web page for secondary ed below. There you should be able to find more information about our curriculum and the standards' expectations being covered.
