Good afternoon! This is Rebecca Tidwell, principal of Cascade Middle School. We're calling to share an important update regarding state documentation requirements for the 2026–2027 school year. All students must have a current proof of residence dated July 1, 2026, or later on file. For a list of acceptable proof of residence documents and additional enrollment information, please visit the Bedford County Schools website, click Schools, then How to Enroll. To help families complete these requirements, the Cascade Middle office will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on July 27th, 28th, and 29th. Documents may also be submitted on July 30th during Open House from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Please submit all required documentation no later than August 7th. Students who do not have the required documents on file by that date will not be able to remain at school and will need to be picked up. Any missed time will be considered an unexcused absence until the required documentation has been received. Proof of residence may be emailed to Mrs. Brandi Giel at gielb@bedfordk12tn.net. Additionally, all incoming 7th grade students need to bring an updated immunization certificate to the school. Thank you for your attention to this important matter. We appreciate your help in getting these requirements completed before the start of the school year. Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon!
